Meet The Doctor

Timothy M. Dornin, DMD

Dr. Dornin was born and raised in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Duquesne University in 1990 with a B.A. in Biology and went on to earn his doctorate degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1994. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Dornin returned to his hometown to practice Dentistry.

A constant student of his profession, Dr. Dornin went on to complete the extensive curriculum of Orognathic Bioesthetics International (OBI) Levels I, II, III, and IV.  As a Bioesthetic dentist, Dr. Dornin is a biologic, systems-focused dentist that has developed an expertise on how the entire chewing system functions.  He is well-versed in treating TMJ problems and the associated symptoms such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, clenching and grinding.  Currently, he is the only Level IV Bioesthetic dentist practicing in Pennsylvania.

He has also studied extensively at the world renowned Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, as well as, the prestigious Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona.

He has been a member of the Discovery Study Club, which is part of an International network of Seattle Study Clubs for dental specialists, since 1994. The award being held reflects his long standing membership along with his desire and ability to offer his patients state-of-the-art care.

Dr. Dornin is married and the father of two busy boys.  He cherishes time with his family and friends, enjoys the great outdoors, is an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and skier.
